This year’s Users Group Meeting party was Heroes vs. Villains, and I feel like it couldn’t have been more fitting for the occasion. This theme translated across the entire event by encouraging YOU to become your own office hero. As your choice of practice management software, we work hard to ensure you have the tools you need to keep your practice running smoothly. However, the day-to-day operations, challenges, and success of your practice rest on your shoulders.
We know how easy it can be to fall into old habits instead of moving with technology, as well as how common it can be to get stuck in a rut without knowing how to move towards improvement. That’s why we love hosting our annual UGM! It’s a place where you can learn how to make the most out of your software, learn new strategies from industry-leading professionals, and network with fellow peers. Our goal is for you to leave with a renewed sense of energy, creativity, and knowledge to become your own hero and help improve your orthodontic practice.
Whether you’re a regular UGM attendee or haven’t attended one yet, here are some great reasons to sign up for next year!
One of the most beneficial parts of the UGM is networking with peers! It’s a great opportunity to see how others in your industry are making their practice run more efficiently, how to conquer marketing, and how to make the most of Edge Cloud or ViewPoint. There are plenty of opportunities built into the UGM for networking including round table classes, breaks between classes, lunch time, and even after classes are done for the day.
Whether you’re in classes, out site-seeing, or attending our epic party, the UGM is a great chance to build relationships with your own peers. It can be a little tricky to build up working relationships in the office, so this is a great chance to get to know each other and better understand how each of your peers works best. It’s always fun watching teams express so much excitement while brainstorming about what they just learned and how they can improve their day-to-day operations. Not only is the UGM an opportunity for our attendees to bond, it’s also a great experience for our own Ortho2 staff to get to know each other and our amazing customers.
It’s so important to keep learning! We’ve all heard the adage, “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it”. But this isn’t true when it comes to daily operations in your career. There’s always room for improvement by developing new skills, increasing efficiency, and improving morale and creativity. If you don’t continue to learn new things, you can fall behind. Instead of becoming the ‘gate-keeper’ who doesn’t want to try new things, become the ‘creative guru’ who is always bringing new ideas to the table. To help you learn all that you can, we line up some of the top industry professionals, as well as our knowledgeable Ortho2 staff to help you make the most of the UGM. They cover a variety of topics including new enhancements, marketing, compliance, reporting, scheduling, and how to get the most value out of your Ortho2 software.
We had such a blast with our attendees in Fort Worth this year, and are already looking forward to heading to San Diego next year for our 36th annual UGM. We hope to see you there!
