The conveyance of clinical excellence is the most important aspect of your marketing. Patients want value. They want quality. And above all, they want orthodontists whom they can trust. They want durability and long-term stability of their results. It is important for your patients, community, and referring doctors to know you are clinically excellent.
At Gorczyca Orthodontics, we have a patient satisfaction policy that orthodontic appliances are removed at the request of the patient. The patient confirms in writing that they have been told that their braces are ready for removal, that they are happy with the orthodontic result, and that they are requesting removal of their braces.
There are many verifications of orthodontic clinical excellence. If you are an orthodontist and have achieved clinical excellence by becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, let it be known. If you are a member of the Angle Society of Orthodontists, let people know. When I received my Diplomate status from the American Board of Orthodontics, I printed announcement cards and sent them to 250 members of my local dental society. That same month, I received 152 referrals! It was the busiest month I ever had in my practice.
